Cam and Pushrods
After reading about and listening to many many combinations I think it has come down to the g5x3 with a 112 lsa. I want that little extra aggressive idle, and the power should come on slightly quicker than with a 114. I have read a lot about the valve clearance and it seems these are borderline and the pistons will not need to be flycut. I was looking at the comp cam 921 kits that include retainers, seats and seals. Is this all necessary or can I buy items individually and omit something? It appears the cam calls for a 7.4" pushrod which is what comes in the ls6 originally. Do I need to upgrade to hardened pushrods or reuse the factory setup.
