I've seen the LG headers make huge tq on stock C6's. I'd go with the LG headers. I have no opinion on the Kooks.

I'll plug for Kooks....I've had 1 3/4" on my car for over a year now. No complaints, good power. In the 1/8th mile, I ran .3 and 3 mph better after the install; already had a tune in it.

I've used Kooks on my C5 coupe, C5Z06, and Dynomax on my C6 coupe. No problems out of Kooks whatsoever. I'll probably go the Kooks route if I end up keeping my current Z06. Both seem to produce very similar gains.

I'd recommend kooks - they're very easy to get to line up the X pipe in the tunnel so your tips can be alighned properly

American Racing are the easiest to install, and similar to Kooks if you're wanting the shorter primaries. LG is the way to go if you want full length primaries.

I would do American Racing if you plan on stroker or FI down the road (500+ rwhp) or if you have an auto and plan on stalling it, or if you want to drag race. For an m6 or unstalled auto or if you want to do road racing, LG.

The LG will typically make better low-end power and midrange torque. The American Racing or Kooks would typically be better for top end.

If anyone would like to discuss their options regarding A.R. Headers feel free to call me at 631-608-1986. Because we have different combinations of header systems for different power levels, engine displacements and driving style, I most certainly have something great to offer all C5/C6 Vette owners. Thanks.
