Haltech Intake

THis intake is garbage. I know a lot of people have them but dam.,., The filter and mas air flow sensor keep falling off because the intake tube does not fit correctly around the mas air flow... I have reinstalled this twice and it just doesnt seem right... Anyways what other intakes do you all rec. I have heard the V Ram is sick but what happens when it rains does it suck water in to the intake. Is there a block off plate or something... Thanks

Lol, we've had our Halltech for a couple tears and it has never fallen off, you sure you have it for the right year? Anywyas the VR is nice. I used to run a CAI on my Cobra and it would sit way lower to the ground than the VR would and I never had an issue. You would have to be in deep water and at high rpm's to really cause enough suction to do damage, imo.

Do you have a differnt MAF? If so, that could explain the fitting problem. Either way talk to Haltech about, they have pretty good customer service.

As far as Vararam, I have not heard a single problem with people driving them in the rain.
