Default How rare are the White Z06's (C5)??

Just wondering. I am looking at picking up a Z06 (c5) next year and really wanted white. Any ideas on how rare they are or does anyone have any good pics of any?

Speedway White ZO6's were only available in 2001, and only 352 were made. Good luck, if you find one hang on to it.

They are pretty rare, but I wouldn't pay anything more than 30k for one, regardless of how low the miles were..

352 was the production number on the white 01 Z but they are not really worth any more than any of the other 5 colors that were avilable for the Z06 that year ...that is unless you run across someone who really thinks that they are something special ... .. then they are ..

PS The reason that they did not build many in that color was that white was not very popular and still is not very popular. It is the lowest produced Corvette color year in and year out ...

*Ahem*

1997 -- 4th lowest production @ 1341. Bested by Nassau Blue (292), Light Carmine Red (381) and Fairway Green (155). 7 Total Available colors

1998 -- 8th Lowest production @ 3346. Only Sebring Silver, Black, and Torch Red were made in greated numbers. 12 Total Available Colors

1999 -- 4th Lowest again @ 2756. Bested by Nassau Blue (1034), Navy Blue (1439), and Magnetic Red (2733). 8 Total Available colors

2000 -- 3rd Lowest @ 1979. Bested by Nassau Blue (851) and Dark Bowling Green (1663). 10 Total Available colors

2001 -- 2nd Lowest @ 2465. Bested by Dark Bowling green (919). 9 total abailable colors

2002 -- Officially the lowest @ 1763. 8 Available colors

2003 -- Again the lowest at 679. 8 colors again

2004 -- Lowest again at 1741. 8 Colors again

As far as I can tell, white seems to be a fan favorite among Corvette enthusiasts. It was my personal second choice (HOT iwth a firethorn interior) behind Nassau Blue. Thought the numbers don't show it, people always seem to rave about how good C5's look in white.

Thanks for making my point for me. White was the lowest produced color in the last three years that you listed and next to lowest in the fourth year. It was next to last in 2005 also. You obviously have a vette black book read the numbers sir. Popular colors are produced in the three, four or five and six thousand range. We do not stock white cars due to its lack of popularity. White cars are sitters not sellers. We sold over 400 Vettes last year and three were white. One was a coup we ordered for stock inventory and it sat here for 7 months before anyone loved it enough to take it home. The other two were custom ordered for two of my customers who wanted the classic color combo of white with red interior. We like to roll our inventory in less than 60 days so we stock what sells and order not so popular configurations for our customers that want them. I can get them what ever configuration that they want in 28 days.

I love the look of the White vettes. I only ever had one white car but I love White. Someone on here had a beautiful pic of a white zo6 with white wheels.

I don't even like speedway white in person, it has a cream color to it. It isn't bright white.

White is killer with dark windows and chrome wheels. Most people feel it's too plain. I think it's classy.

White Z06's seem to be going up and up in price this last year. I like them but I wouldn't want to deal with all the 01 oil burning issue again...

I love my 2000 white FRC,..with black wheels and the brake ducts. Ever since I bought the car(wihout ducts)....people think it's a Z06. Even people, that know cars,..look at it, and think it's a Z06. Then when I tell them now,...they're like oh,..didn't notice you didn't have ducts.

I see, parked next to me almost everyday, a 2001 speedway white, Z06. It also has my old black wheels on it. Also, he has mod red, I have black. When you look at both of them side by side...I like the artic white,...compaired to semen white(speedway) Z06.

check it out, look for pastvertical's post. I think he has some shots of the cars side by side,..for a color comparison. If not,..i'll try and get it from my picture account
