A guy on the Vette Board wanted to hear straight pipes compared to an exhaust with mufflers, so I posted up our exhausts. Figured I would post it here as well. Sorry dont know the brand on the Z06 (came with the car, and the guy didnt know)


Magnaflow exhaust on a SC'd 99 FRC.
Straight pipe exhaust on my '02 Z06/

i dunno quick, i like them both for different reasons. the FRC sounds really refined and smooth, while the Z sounds like its gonna kick your *** and take your lunch money.

We should get a bunch of clips and add them all up. Cars must be C5's, audio must not be junk, and we need idle/rev clips, and then driving on street video. What do you guys think? I could probably do the stock exhaust, and then compare it to magnaflow, B&B, or hooker (depending on which I go with) Anyone else? I wanna hear those corsa pace cars

Here is a video of mine. The rattle when I let off the pedal is gone now that I had the smog pump turned off. Sounds better in person too. Anyhoo... mods are in my sig and in the beginning of the clip. Enjoy.

To me that sounds perfect and what I'm after when I get my vette in spring. Hope you don't mind but I plan on copying that setup of yours.
