Also I might add that this isnt exactly the place to get an unbiased opinion. Just go drive each and buy whichever one puts a bigger smile on your face.

Do you want to lose most of the races that you will be egged on to be in? I think not, 02 z06 is 405hp, hell you're almost to 500hp right there. Can anybody say SC? I like how the NSX looks but the c5 z06 is beautiful too.

Z06!!! for sure

My dad works at a acura dealer. He has driven them before. He said you think the car handles great, then you go to a track event and the stock Z06's are killing the NSX's and damn near killing everything else on the road course track. The acura is way the hell overpriced.
Btw my dad says $3000 for a tune up on that car!!!!!!!!!!!! A tune up for that car includes replacing the timing belts on the car, they go bad!

he NSX is weaker from the factory, but i have abuddy who can get me a ccomtech supercharfer and itercoolerwhich wold put me at 600hp. ALso, once you tune it, you have an 8000 rpm redline. I also have a buddy who can get me a cantrell studios wide body rear and a marga hills side and a 2002 marga hlls front end. Did i mention im picking up the NSX for only $25? i tink im going nsx just becuase of the mear fact that if i change my mind, after all my mods, i can get 40k overnight. I dont know i dont know....... NSX Put a huge smile on my face. But i dont know if its bigger than a ZO6. ALso, i hjust got rid of a ZO6 so maybe something different. I like that comment about stealking one my 99 trans am was stolen in may. My 96 WS6 is now UNDER LOCKDOWN-this next car will be stored across toewn under air conditioning. With armed guards.

That being said, the potential, and bang for the buck of the LS engines is nearly unbeatable, so you need to decide whats more important to you. Thats why alot of us "import guys" are here swapping LS engines into our cars, best of both worlds.
I wonder how many of you have driven a Z06. Just food for thought..your F-Body doesn't compare to a C5 in the handling department. Personally, my C5 doesn't compare to the Z06 in handling either. Let alone the extra power. Granted, I have a stock suspension. Yes, the Vette's are alittle heavier, but respond very, very well..and what's alot better about the C5's are that they are very predictable. C5Z06's are champs. With that aside, test drive the NSX first, just in case it actually fulfills the overrating ranting that the import guys give it.

Although there are import guys that do LS swaps, most of them cut corners, and have nothing close to a balanced sports car when it's actually finished. The ones that do have something balanced have spent far more money than what it's worth.

He could buy the Z06, spend 10K in aftermarket parts, such as wheels, lowering kit, rear fascia cover, full exhaust, heads/cam and turn just as many heads as the NSX, plus he'll be much, much faster and sound oh so much better. My .02.

Pick up a new C6 from Corvette Conti at EVS for about $40 large. 435 hp and looks better than the NSX.

^ if i were to pick up a corvette for looks, itd be a c5 coupe. If i were to pick up a corvette for performance, itd be a C6ZO6. The 08 corvettes and basically the C6 in general doesnt do much for me unless its in ZO6 form. I dont even care much for the Blue devil/ ZR1

I think the NSX was a cool car for back in the day, still get looks. BUT... It was sophisicated and high-tech back then. V6 with V-tec. It is a 1996 car vs a 2001 or newer. That 1996 NSX is coming up on 12 years old.. aka more maintenance and stuff breaking. Moving parts = **** breaks. I dont care what it is. It's not like it's a C5 where parts are dime a dozen and share common crap from trucks and other GM vehicles. Example.. What happens on a weekend, you need a water pump for that NSX. Wait til monday and order from honda. The C5, go down to local parts store.. buy it and your on the road again in an hour.

The Supra is a cool car too in my opinion.. but a 1993-1996 car is old and $$$ as hell when **** breaks.

Thats my opinion...

An NSX is a peice of crap. Who the hell would want to buy an old 13 second goofy looking import? A Z06 is way cooler.
