Default C5 ZO6 or NSX?

my Zo6 was stolen a week ago. I have the replacement picked out.....but theni started pondering the possibility of an NSX. And i want one more than you know right now but i dont want to rush into it and make the worng decision so im taking my time to think it out. I was just wondeering what you guys would do.......the choices are an anniversary red z06, and a 96 nsx-t with the 3.2

Lol, I was just arguing about this on the S2K board Lol, being biased I would take a C5Z over an NSX. I know the NSX would probably be more rare, but im sure it's probably even more than the Z your looking at.

i always wanted a nsx- everyday exotic, beautiful ride, but lack luster power. if you want a rare ride, get the nsx, if ya want power, get the vette- probably cheaper to mod too

If this were 1991 I would say NSX... though this may be because I'm a Honda guy somewhat. The NSX has a pretty comfortable ride. But after having a taste of LS1s from the driver's seat, I can't imagine taking an NSX, even a Type-R, over a Z06.

I think the NSX looks better than the Z06 (which itself looks bad ***) but the Z06 would slaughter the NSX in the performance department.

NSX's are very cool looking and super reliable, but expensive to mod, and not very fast. The newer ones were atleast 300 hp, if you want looks NSX if you want performance get a z06

NSX's are very cool looking, but used ones are pricey and the cars run low 13's.

Just as everyone else said, the NSX is a beautiful car, but IMO pretty boring to drive. Im a huge fan of that type of Japanese imports, NSX, Supra, RX-7s.. I think the styling, design, fit and finish is far advanced to anything the US offers. Even an 02 Z06 that Ive driven just felt a bit big and clumbsy compared to my FD Rx-7. That being said, the potential, and bang for the buck of the LS engines is nearly unbeatable, so you need to decide whats more important to you. Thats why alot of us "import guys" are here swapping LS engines into our cars, best of both worlds.

NSX's are underpowered to the extreme and their long body reminds me a of a cockroach.

Zo6 baby!

They may be underpowered, but they really are gorgeous cars. so it really depends on what you want the car for. if you want the rare/exoticness then obviously go nsx. if youre just going for speed then get a vette.

i think i'd prolly end up modding a nsx,

Find an NSX that is a bit out of sorts and dump and LSX into it.

The NSX are nice and I would not mind owning one, but they are waaaaaayyyy overpriced IMO.

The ones I've seen on the track were slower than corvettes. Looks so pretty though.

I haven't seen any lsxnsx builds, you could be famous like civette and end up making money off of the build.

Z06 hands down. NSX is cool but on power, ride like crap, pricey to fix/maintance, and not comfy at all

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would never buy that overpriced, underpowered Ferrari wannabe. JMHO.

Z06 all the way.
