go ahead and do it and f**k up a good looking car black its played out cuz it looks good on certain colors or people wouldn't do it.. Chrome is the best but black with a chrome lip looks good and so does sliver with a chrome lip ,my boy has 19's on a red GTO silver with a chrome lip and it looks good

On a related note, have you looked at the z07 wheels that are similar to c6 z06 style wheels? I think they look a little cleaner and they also look good in all black, and they are available in 19", but also a more performance friendly 18" x 11" in the rear so you could run 18" 315 Drag Radials if you're planning on modding this car like you did your c5.

it just depends on the look your going for in my own opion.... the 05 GTO's werent out when i bought mine in 04 and i was pissed when they fixed everything on the 05 that was wrong with the 04 and my number one think i hated was how they ran the exhaust so the 05 bumper aloud me to run no cats x pipe and straight pipes
