Default Z51?

Whats the easiest way to tell if a C5 coupe has the Z51 option?

I will be in the market soon for a C5 and am trying to decide whether or not the Z51 package is really that important.

Check for the Z51 option code by opening the glove box. I think on some years it may be on the door jam.

This was selective ride control, different than the Z51 package.

Z51/FE3/Z19 If you see one of these it has Z51 package. It will most likely be on the door of the glovebox.

I believe that is the case but I'm pretty sure that the z19 code is specific to an FRC.

No, it is F55. If it has selective ride control then it will not have the Z51 package.
