Lowered today

Well I did it today. I lowered the Vette. Used the longer bolts on the rear and C6 bolts on the front (Thanks ACR Z06........Patrick). A little patiece on the front made it no problem and the rear was a breeze. I may have it to low, will put a few miles on it see how I like it. As far as looks, It is night and day. It really does look good.

Sits just right, almost looks like you would have a coilover setup. Looks good.

Looking Good Norm.

Night and Day difference.

The C6 bolts work fairly well on the C5, it's a quick fix until i get some coil overs.

Thanks everyone. I look forward to taking it out for a good spirited drive. Have only taken it around the block to make sure of any new noises. So far all is well.

Cool, look's good. People are always hesitant to lower it thinking it will be difficult, then when you do it's its like damn I should have done it a long time ago.

LGM lowered my FRC while it was there earlier this year. I never asked them to, but they did it as a surprise to see if I liked it. You know what, I loved it. The car is so much more stable at high speed. (100-200+ mph) At any rate she handles a bit better too with the lower center of gravity. Makes you feel inspired to push the limits.

Your car looks awesome bro. How much did you drop it ??

Thanks guys, On the front it lowered 1 1/4 inches and the rear 2 inches. I had been considering new wheels but after lowering these wheels are a very nice match. May just hold off on that now. Or for now at least.............

How much ground clearance do you have in the middle of the car? I am planning on 1" in the front, and 1.5" in the back.

Well, if you do replace the stock Z06 wheels, holler at me. I could drive over and pick them up for my FRC.
