Pilot Sports, I have them on my C5 and for a street tire they are great. They even make them in a runflat also. Or just go with some Nitto 555Rs

Yeah...I know everyone seems to like the Pilot Sports but I'm not a fan. Now the Nitto's are what I was thinking too. Just need to find out if they come in the Corvette sizes.

Thanks!

What dont you like about the Pilots, besides the $420.00 each price tag? lol

They track a heck of alot better than the runflats.

I had them on a different car and thought they sucked. Loud, HARD unforgiving tire IMHO. I'll never own them again personally.

I just ordered a set of 315/25/19' for the rear of mine and 275/35/18's for the front. I cant wait to see how the car drives and handles with the new Pilot PS2's!!!

See if BFG makes the KDW 2 in the sizes you need. I had them before the PS2's on my car now and liked the KDW 2's better. I changed to CCW Big Street Classics and 275x18 and 315x18 tires and BFG doesn't offer the 315.

Better wear rating and cheaper than the PS2's also.

So you have 18's on the back too? This is what I'm thinking of doing so I can put Nitto's all the way around.

Thanks Y'all!

I have the GS-D3, and my father has the BFG KD, not KDW or KDW2. My next set of street tires will be the BFG KD. Absolute best performance you can get other than street drag radials like Nitto or BFG DR. Very sticky, very quiet, but also very low mileage. My Goodyear GS-D3 are too expensive and too hard for anything more than stock power, but they do get good mileage.

FWIW, I found out that I can only get minimal $$$ from the tire dealers to trade these in. Anyone looking for a set of run flats with 20-30 miles on them? If so, lets talk.

see how active handling likes smaller rears then the fronts. My car hated it. had to switch to 305-30-19's
