Default New best in my 08 last night!

My new 08 ran an 11.802 @ 118.62 mph at Houston Raceway Park last night. I think there is a little more in it with better air. Fairly humid and not exactly cold at 77* IAT. Ready for some nitrous Houston air!

Very nice times Larry! I'll bet you'll improve over the next few months when temp drops a bit, and hopefully the humidity will go down.

Is the tranny the same in the 07's and 08's?

And probably farther into the 11s with cooler air. If I could only figure a way to ease up on the launch torque management. 1.91 60' is not very good.

Factory stock EMT run flat radials. They held like glue last night so a sticky tire isn't going to help. Unless lighter than these 61.2# per rear tire/wheel.

Do the 2008 models have the same problem as the other C6's with the extremely weak halfshafts?

Wow, headers/intake/tune gets 11s in warm weather. That is damn impressive! Especially on stock runflat tires.
