Default LS9 pictures...

Forgive me if this is a repost, but I saw these on a local board and didn't see them in this section.

I see that it is probably a repost, but I'll leave it since it's in a different section. Check out the other thread here:

That is awesome.
I love the intercooler.
Interesting TB and it looks like the inlet could be ported already.

Supercharger pulley doesn't look easy to change either.

Is that a 10 rib setup.... I could go on and on looking at those pictures.

Quite the serpentine system for sure.

To be honest, I'm just as interested in seeing the rest of the car and what improvements it has over the Z06. You know it'll only be a matter of weeks after they hit the showrooms before someone on the boards has modified the drivetrain on one...

That is SWEET. i too was looking at the pulley size and thinking how it's about 1/4" too big lol can't wait to see the modding but you know that the pulley looks awefully small to be able to do much to lower it. Maybe machine the snout down a little to slap on a smaller one. Hmm. Shouldn't be any problems with belt slippage either with that many ribs. Man that's a SWEET lookin' engine~Cole~

Looking though you could pull that intercooler off and the pulley should be much easier to get the pulley off.~Cole~

The 100k price tag seems like a bargan compared to Ferrari F430 with only 490 hp and a price tag of around 175k.

Take that you Italian bastards.

The market will be completely crazy on this car...the only place they will sell for $100K is on fantasy island. People with very deep pockets that have to be the first to have it will drive the price through the roof. Remember what happed to the price of the ford GT... and that was a phuchin ford not a Super Vette.

Good idea on not holding your breath waiting on that to happen..the non-aerodynamic FRC body style is dead and gone ... you could always slap a LS9 under the hood of your FRC... that is the only way it will happen

Sounds good. Get me a 95% discount from your hook up and we are in business. I already have the hood for the KB so it should fit no problem.

Who needs Viagra when you can stare at that all day long...

What do you guys figure the price of it will be once the dealer gets their markup? Say $120K?

That is a nice setup, but I think the final price of LS9/ZR1 will exceed the projected price tag of $100K by quite a bit. Other than the cool collector factor, one could do much better and cheaper building an equivalent setup yourself.
