got hit today..
got hit today.. well as the title says i got hit today in the Vette. Some ******* in a dump truck decided i needed a little help around the corner at a red light. i saw him stop really close to the back of my car and i was watching him in the mirror i looked forward for a split second to see if anymore cars where making the left turn coming towards us and i felt him hit me. then as three cars are still turning our light turns green and he decideds to let the clutch out and hit the gas. Needless to say i was still in front of him not able to move out of the way or avoid him cause the other cars still turning. then he has the nerve to tell the cops that i rolled back into him i said **** you my car is an Automatic and not a stick so there is no way in hell your trying to pin this on me. all the blame and fault is on you.and he told the cops he didn't see me and thought he hit the curb thats why he kept going. i was so pissed off but now finally cooling down. busted my *** for 6 years and finally get the car i've always wanted and three weeks later this **** happens go figure. Not alot of damage cause he wasn't going that fast but def. going to need a new rear quarter panel,the whole bumper replaced. anyways sorry for the long post just had to rant. here are some pics.
thanks man i'm callinmg my insurance comp tomorrow morning and getting this taken care of as soon as possible already have a number to a body shop that my boy knows that built the motor in my camaro so calling them tomorrow morn as well
damn that suck make sure that guy can work with fiberglass and pastic cuz thats what makes up these cars and some places just aren't that good at working on them.. plus most places around like to do the corvette tax.. just because its a vette but i hope the best for you!! keep us posted!
yea i will def keep you guys posted and the shop i am getting refered to all they deal with and specialize in is corvette body work and repairs and the one guy that works there that im asking for has a Vette and does the body work.

u should sue the **** outta his company that he drives for and get a c6z06 lol especially if ur back hurts...i would get documentation via a hospital if there really is somthin wrong with you...not sure what time period is legit for injury complaint after an auto accident but most people who are extremely intent on sueing will come outta their cars holding the back of thier necks but i believe because of the composition of your car and the seat placement being so far back u might be able to have a lawsuit against the company...i would def look into it
i will look into it but prob won't sue i just want my car fixed a.s.a.p. i guess its a good thing i didn't sell the camaro yet. don't have to worry about getting a rental i can drive that and get some addvertisement out there that it's for sale.

Great advice. America - home of the gold diggers. If somebody causes you a financial or physical loss, by all means they should correct it. But to encourage people to try to get rich off an accident is ignorant. You my friend are a part of the gold digging attitude that is raising insurance premiums, shutting down Mom & Pop organizations, and making crooked lawyers filthy rich.
and just heard back from my ins. comp gotta go to one of there shops to get an est. but i can get the car fixed where ever i want just have to let them know where and then get the police report to them and they will go after the other ins. comp for reinbursement so i prob have to pay my deduct. but then get the money back from his ins.
