I have had the Spec3+ for a season now with out any issues. I have only been down the 1320 about a dozen times with the clutch and many miles of spirited driving. My tuner ran a Spec 5 with 750RWHP for about two years and he had no issues either.

After reading some others horror stories about clutch failure I am thinking hard about soem type of containment for the bellhousing area. The more I think of the issue it seems not matter what clutch you run it is a good idea to add some safety backups here.

Smart man.

Highly suggest a bellhousing capable of handling an impact like that. i know there is magnesium bellhousings available.... I currently use a blanket,...which, gives me some piece of mind. I have a universal one, which, with the LG pro crazy 25 foot long tubes....it's hard to work with. I think maybe exotic muscle, sells SPECIFIC blankets for our applications.

Very smart purchase.

A lot of people have had good luck with them, hopefully you will be fine. It's a shame that there have been so many explosions with this clutch.

Cool deal man,...no problem. A very wise choice I think....regardless of clutch brand cause, you never know.

Your right Phil, it is a shame. This is a company that i'd be gungho about. i'd tell people straight up to there face that this(spec) was the best clutch. Turns out, 100% of humans are imperfect,...therefore, I was wrong. Now, after dealings with people from that company,...which obviously weren't good in the outcome department,....people outta know.

And thats what this is about.

I'm glad you are letting people know, hopefully it won't lead to someone getting severely hurt or worse.
