Default At Cost Pricing Question

Hi I got a job with a Chevrolet Cadillac dealership recently and i just found out that if I decided to purchase a vehicle from them... I would get it AT COST +$300 and have employee financing privledges.

Is there a certain percentage that dealers charge over what they pay for a vehicle? Basically I'm trying to figure out how much a brand new Vette would cost me....

Why not just ask the sales manager at the dealership where you work. Most everyone here would be guessing unless they work at or own a dealership.

The big internet vette dealers are running specials with the price being 10% - 13% off MSRP. So this gives you something to think about.

I had worked at a GM dealer about 6 years ago. It was $250 above invoice, plus you could get the really good financing but they never offer low financing on the vettes.

With a Cobalt at 0% ARP, who in the world would want a vette If they offered )%, or even 3% to 4%, I would pick up a 08 vette today!

It depends on what the dealer where you work will do for you ... I qualify for GM employee pricing at the dealership I work for..for example on a 2008 1LZ Z06 in yellow the MSRP is $71750 and GM employee price is $62276.38. Why don't you ask one of the honchos there what they will do for you..

Look at a 2006 you do not want a 2005..never buy the first year of production.

Whats wrong with the 05s? I'm planning on a targa top so the lamination roof recall doesn't matter to me.

Damn you can get an 08 Z06 for $62,000? I was looking at a used 07 a few weeks ago for $60,000.
