Checked out your website, very nice.... must have been priceless seeing his face, who thinks with 470rwhp your going to get walked by 7 cars. Congrats, VERY nice car you have there.

Laid waste, real waste to a modded Cobra SVT
In yesterdays heat (100+) I laid a serious surprise on a '03 Cobra SVT.
He pulled up along side on a virtually empty boulevard and we hit from about 2500 in first gear. Thank God for the heat, too, because I only spun hard through first and slid a bit sideways on the second gear shift. In fourth gear I had an easy 7-10 car lengths on him.
He rolled up later and yelled "what the Hell! That car is fast, I mean, really fast - pull over" Turns out he has the usual SVT power upgrades, including pulley for more boost and has dyno’d upper 470 RWHP and Torque.
He had a hard time believing I was not FI or nitrous and went on some about all the cars he’s been bushwhacking. I’ve got to admit that when he first hit it I was impressed with that sweet blower whine, but I didn’t hear it long enough to want one. Hard to beat these LS1’s with big cubic inches.

Way to go, man! That was an awesome read. I'm glad to hear you put the coldbelly in its place.
Yeah, it's kinda funny... who would have thought that a guy w/ 470rwhp would have gotten killed so bad... I mean, its only 470 rwhp! Just goes to show...
Great pics, btw! Congrats on the motor!

nice kill. looks like you did some serious engine work. noticed you said the car is not FI. (fuel injected?) if not, what type of intake/carb setup are you using. and are you having problems with emissions, ie state inspections?

I was SO ready to call until I saw your mods. There is always someone faster. Good race. Two American hotrods having at it. Gotta love that.

I raced 2 03 Cobras the other night one was stock except for filter one was modded with pulley and a custom chip. He had 450 rwhp, the stock one was no problem at all I let off after 2nd gear, the modded one ran much better but was about 3-5 cars at 120 mph.
