2001 Mod Red Z06....
I'm in the biz too and I've persoanlly sold 2 C5Zo6's last month... and I personally drive one too... your dealer isn't giving you the deal of a lifetime... it's not bad, but not a gift eigther.
I'm shocked at how much the values have dropped since May of last year...
Per the Manhiem data base (it links all the major aucton results in the southeast for the last two weeks) It shows:
2001 Zo6 Above Average Below
Auction $24,800 $22,400 $20,100
A total of nine were sold

Just watch out for oil consumption to make sure you don't have one of those motors that need to be re-ringed.
Other than the HUD option and 20HP you should be good. Don't know if you have plastic or metal end links on the sways. If you have plastic ones you should upgrade to metal as the plastic one's flex and you loose some handling.

PS You let me know that you were a rookie when you kept mentioning "one owner"..what the phuch has that got to do with what kind of car it is..I have seen a bunch of very outstanding cars that have had multiple owners..
And what is it with "my boss"? My boss has nothing to do with this....

That has nothing to do with being a rookie. Ive been in the business for almost 5 yrs now. Maybe not as much as you, but Im not as old as you either.... Happy Im not too. Alot of people who come through my dealership look for a 1 owner car. Even though many outstanding cars have had mulitple owners, its still something people look for. Its a plus alot of times. It shows he knows everything that has been done to the car as well.... Right at his Dads dealership with all the service records as well. With a car of this caliber, people who buy them want to know what has and hasnt been done to them. And with a 1 owner car, it makes it easier to track everything. You being such a "veteran", I thought you would know this....
Maybe its just people in Va that think that way....

Thanx anyways.
