Bolt on LS3 Speedo pull to 170 MPH on Video

Just thought I'd share this pull with you guys!

It's an 08 Z51 with dynatech headers, VR, borla touring, ported TB & intake, and 410 gears...

pretty quick especially for just bolt ons, impressive that it is pretty much as quick as my speedo vid in my sig and I'm a H/C car w/3.90's!

curious to know rwhp as well

Looked to be still pulling good even at 170. As best I could tell you were in 5th gear? Maybe with a little less gear (3.73?) even faster. Great video!

At the same rpm with a 3.73 you would have been turning 187 mph. I believe your car has the power to pull that too.

Where do you normally post at?

We are all speed junkies over here, lol.

That is what i have been told about the ls3 clutch, how is the shifter? Heard that the shifting is more smooth and refined compared to the older models.

wow that was so smooth almost like an automatic... god that needle was just flowing like a bat out of hell until the 110 mark and the higher speeds... gears do wonderers... but not so good for top speed

I would not say I'm rich, I just work my AZZ off...

The bolt on C6 is a great toy, and still has a 5 year warranty!

The C5 is crazy fun, but takes a bunch of work to keep it right!
