Unhappy Bad News!

Yesterday i was racing my buddy, when i slammed third i fubard the synchro! My question is, while i got the tranny im gonna upgrade the clutch, which one should i go with? My future plans are a h/c n2o car making somewhere between 600 and 700hp. I've seen a lot of talk about clutchs but never seen one that had all positive feedback......somebody always had something bad to say about each one. My car is gonna have a pretty big cam and i dont want a clutch thats gonna make it completly undrivable. All help is appreciated guys.

LS2 Flywheel with the LS7 clutch...

It will hold the power, feel like stock, the only drawback is that it doesn't like to be slipped (of the line at a dragstrip)

Dome people curse them... but I swear by them! I have a Spec III+ and its holding my 453/400 on all motor nicely. I have a 150 shot on the car but still working out the details before I spray it. I also had a Spec III in my KB Cobra that never thought twice about giving in.

Spec 3+ FTW!

Great clutch imo. Good for your power goal.

With you pushing that much hp and you will have more torque than Hp with a nitrous setup, go with a Mcleod twin disk!!!! Will easily hold that much hp and torque, plus you can street drive that clutch. A spec 3+ will not hold that much. My one buddy had one in his Cammed and sprayed f-body. Easy to drive on the street and could easily take all that power. Yes the clutch is expensive but you want to push that much HP and torque you will need it.
