I have had several M-6 cars and still have my 2001 M-6 Vette, But we love our new 2008 A-6 Vette and it is so fast I still get wood driving it.

You mean it's so fast you ran it off the road and caught a tree and got wood stuck in the body of the car? Ouch!

Is the LS3 really much different from the LS2?? The guys at the dealership said it just exhaust mods.... not that they are a reliable source of information. I have an 05 C6 M6 and want to know what you guys are getting out of Long Tubes, cam, intake and tuning. Already have a Corsa system.

6.0 lit up 05-07........., 6.2 lit 08
about 30 hp diff. the cust I've had with 05/07 vettes say the 08 is just better all around not that the 05-07 where not, GM just tweaked and already awsome platform. As for the Bi modal exhaust (sp) I wouldn't get it for $1000you could do a nice system or it could get you started. Most cust I sold too ended up taking the fuse out and just kept it open all the time. Int changes as well in 08 plus the key fobs. couldn't help with info on headers, cam, intake.... Corsa system is nice.

If there's one thing I've learned from GM and BMW dealership guys it that you can trust them about as far as you can throw them when it comes to their "knowledge" of the cars they sell.

The LS3 more then just exhaust mods and there are a number of improvements from the LS2 platform. Motor Trend did a nice story on the engine.

I got about 45-50 RWHP from the mods listed in my sig.

I agree you have to get a gearhead in order to talk to some knowledgeable about most perf cars. Not all the time but some of the time.
