Thumbs up

Very cool (and budget) set up. I have a set of GTO spares sitting right next to me that I plan on doing the same thing with. I'm using 17x8.5 C5 Magnesiums with 275x40 M/T DRs for the back and might eventually paint them black to match the fronts.
I am considering a spacer (actually an adaptor) for the skinnies though for two reasons.
One to move the damn things out a little bit because they tuck in so much on most cars that I've seen and the MAIN reason is because they don't totally clear the brakes on C6s and the adaptor will move it away from the calipers and also prevent me from having to widen that inner hub circle needed to allow it to sit flush against the hub.
And I can also get the adaptor in the actual proper bolt pattern for these spares, the Corvette's pattern is 5x120.65 while the GTO's is 5x120 which is close enough but I don't want to bend those lugs even a tiny bit so I will get a 5x120.65 to 5x120 adaptor and kill a few birds with one stone.

Yeah I think they look great, the only reason they looked quite funky on Pittman's car is because he was using those SUPER low profile 22" tires. With the 26" M&Hs (what I will likely be getting for mine) look great.
