02 Z06 I am getting a 02 Z06 and I am doing fullboltons like kooks w/o cats halltech & bassani catback. I can,t decide if I should do a cam or 100shot
What kinda power#s would I be at on the bottle and what cobra could hang with me. Of I am also getting a spec3 as well. Thanks JohnWins

Stock Cobras are now where near stock Z06s, they have to have some mods to make up for the weight difference. Once both cars are modded, whoever has the deepest pockets wins. I would also recommend LG Lts, they are the best on the market. You are also going to want to ditch the Haltech and get a Vararam CAI. I would do a cam instead of N02, with the cam power will always be there and it will be less stressing. Do a search about spec clutches on here, they are complete garbage. Get a Textralia 0Z 700 Z Grip clutch. The Tex will drive close to factory and hold/grab like crazy and last a long time.
I also agree with the cam over the nitrous kit. The nitrous kit will make more power, but you do not have to refill the cam @ $4/lb 
A good mild to mid range cam can make a good 30 to 40 rwhp with supporting bolt ons and stock LS6 heads. Nice huge cam can get 60 to 70 rwhp, but the 'drivability' goes way down.

After installing my buddies nitrous kit, I will never want to install one again. Too much of a PITA!!! Go with a nice big cam. I have the MS4 in my Z. The driveability is great it in it. I have to take it back for a little surging problem, nothing bad. Had the car in 6th gear the other day going 62 mph and was getting around 32-36mpg!!! Also get a nice Fast 90/90 setup too!!! I love the vararam so I will say to go with that instead, but the halltech will work too.
My mods are in my sig. When I do the clutch I will be getting the stock heads ported. Car is fast enough as is! Stock for stock the ZO6 is way quicker than a Cobra. I've raced one before, actually he raced another guy and I was behind him. The Z had no problem taking him.

Yeah the cool thing is my brother is getting the car so I will still get to see it. I want a Z06 really bad and I am gonna be deployed from may till december and I won,t have a car payment if my brother gets the car. So I will save alot of money and do the same things to the Z06 that I did to the goat.
