What do I need to do A4 to M6 Conversion??? A friend of mine found a good deal on A4 99 C5 And he wants M6
So what does he need??
Trans.
master and slave cylinder.
clutch and flywheel.
Interior.....

Bell Housing - Manual
Clutch Package & Pilot Bushing
Master Clutch Unit and mounting Braket
Slave
Manual Torque Tube with shifter rod
Shifter
Tranny wiring Harness
6 Spd Tranny (MN6 or M12) (M12 is Z06)
3.42 Differential
Inside
Clutch & Brake Pedal Assy (I have a set) $100
Shifter Boot
Shifter Cover
You'll need to run a few wires and switches and reprogram your PCM.
I did the conversion.
You'll need the following.
Bell Housing - Manual
Clutch Package & Pilot Bushing
Master Clutch Unit and mounting Braket
Slave
Manual Torque Tube with shifter rod
Shifter
Tranny wiring Harness
6 Spd Tranny (MN6 or M12) (M12 is Z06)
3.42 Differential

Clutch & Brake Pedal Assy (I have a set) $100
Shifter Boot

You'll need to run a few wires and switches and reprogram your PCM.
It would probably be much less expensive for your friend to resell his C5 and pick up one with an M6, as I know the shipping gets downright expensive over to the Middle East.
RPM Transmissions has been doing manual to automatic swaps for people, so they would more than likely have the manual parts there that would be required. I know they are currently doing a conversion on a C6 that is then coming to me for a ProCharger install. Bob

I will talk to the owner if he still want to do the swap I will talk to RPM For sure.
