So DocT whats up with the warranty on the 2008 zo6 ? Will you be able to throw some headers and a cai on her or will that void your warranty ??

If waiting to pick her up this weekend is driving you insane, just wait until you get used to the power and the mod bug bites and you have to weigh more power VS maintaining warranty... Either way DocT, you are going to be happy. Glad you are getting back in the game with a new Zo6. She's going to be worlds apart from your c5 zo6. Congrats.

We need pics of the look on your face when you pick up the car. Probably going to be something like the look on a guys face just before he gets his first piece of a$$ .

Not too sure about the warranty thing; but keeping it under warranty is a pretty big thing for me. If I'm paying that much for a car, I want the warranty. I'm planning to talk to the dealer about a CAI anyway, but from what I've heard, the stock exhaust isn't much more restrictive over long tube headers...I know that the LT's will improve flow, but I haven't heard of a night and day difference.

I'll def post some pics, but I'm going to need instructions on how to upload them.

You just made my day with that comment Joshua! Seriously, I hear people talking about the 06/07's have more power, more torque, less torque management etc...I think it's because the 08's just haven't been tested as much yet, and many are still breaking in.

Anyway, thanks for the info my friend!

Take care, and have a great weekend...I know I will

All I can say is............

I have never in my life seen so many people looking, pointing, drooling at a car in my life. I'm breaking her in gently, and staying below 3K RPM's right now, but you can feel her wanting to stretch her legs. I've already had several people wanting to run on the street, one was a nissan sentra (very much stock) lol. I'll try and get some pics of her today, and upload them to Larry to post.

Break-in sucks. So hard to not romp on it.
After 200 miles I started to progressively start pushing the car more.
