C5 HUD help!!!
C5 HUD help!!! I have a 2000 Corvette with heads up display. When I am driving under about 45mph it jumps around... as in 45,32,41,47,.... and so on. The needle on the tach does move but not as fast and I realize the HUD being digital will relay faster. Any ideas?!
Also here lately I will be cruising on the highway at a consistent speed and it will pop up: Service ABS, Service Active Handling, Service Traction System... I have heard that there is a module for the rear end of the car that controls all of this...could all of my problems be 1 sensor? Thanks

yeah the C5's are NOTORIOUS for grounding issues. Although i can't say for sure it's YOUR cars issue i'd guess it's a strong possibility. If you can, try and find a friend w/ a C5(if you have any with one) and try swapping the clusters. if that doesn't fix it i'd look into the grounding. IDK where all the grounds are but there are 2 under the engine bay by the firewall, on the frame rail, on BOTH sides. Disconnect both, clean grounding area with sand paper, clean connectors, reattach and then put clear silicone over the full grounding area. This will help keep water out of the surface and cause these issues. Where the other grounds are i'm not sure
