Sounds like there's a more serious problem than that... Battery may be dead as well it sounds? Get the thing towed in, i'm sure its got warranty!?

C6 Z06 question! NEED HELP FAST I'll skip the BS story. Basically my buddy was ragging the **** out of one. I know he doesn't really know how to drive that well. The car won't start with the key fob and he think its because he over heated the engine. I think he hurt the engine! Maybe over reved it or something. Would the car go into a sleep mode if he over heated the motor? It won't turn on basically.....the best thing about this that its our buddies car who is out of town......
check the coolant if he over heated it he might have blew the headgasket and there might be blow by (oil) mixed in with the coolant or the collant will get milky colored. Just a thought

Alright! It won't push start: Here's the deal. It flashs service fuel system, key fob off or run? The doors won't unlock or lock and the doors won't open also. The trunk won't pop open also. The radio works. Fuse's are good and it tried to turn over but it seems there is no fuel. What do you guys think?
It's got to be under warranty unless it's been driven a LOT. Sounds like you guys were beating the hell out of your "friend's" car with him gone?...I'd be pissed if I were him! I don't see how you could've overheated the car unless he was low on coolant or something. Did he tag the rev limiter a few times or mechanically over-rev the motor? That could bend valves/pushrods/cause a valve to kiss a piston, etc...that could cause some issues but I don't understand the electronics acting weird. Maybe the battery is dying?

Well! I got the car towed and the when the car got towed it the tow chain broke and the car went FLYING down the ramp almost kills two of my buddies and they some how stopped it. Now there is a big hole in the bumper. This is just some BS huh...... Anyways. I didn't do anything to the car except try to get it started. What a shitty situation.....

SO My buddy didn't really care at all actually. And I wasn't the one who screwed this Z up, I was just trying to help, I did call my AAA to get it towed so after it flew off the tow truck and messed the bumper up, I got involved. This car was bought for 40k. It is a peice of crap that has been wrecked hard twice. There is a massive stress crack in the middle of the door seal, the seat belts don't work, etc.....My buddy who owns the car has 2 supra's 3 lexas's and like 3 bad *** SUV's. He doesn't care at all about his Z06. I love it......
Well I owe you an apology...looks like this story is not 
Even with the exterior flaws I would definitely pick one of those up for $40K
