Default Z06 shift points?

I just purchased a "new-to-me" 2001 Z06 last week and already installed a set of LG pro long tubes with matching X pipe and it already had a flowmaster catback and then I installed a Haltech CAI but where should I be shifting this lil' booger at? just curious before I go Cobra hunting!

Well... the redline on my '01 Zo6 is 6500, but the fuel shut-off is around 6600

I usually hit the next gear seamlessly at around 6,500 and wait for the next change....

With my new aluminum flywheel I'm putting in (right now) I shouldn't have to wait as much between gears.

Thats for you to figure out. Just go and drive around and find what feels best. try a few different pionts and go with it. The motor will stop making power before you get to the rev-limiter, so you dont want to go that far. but i would just a guess say around 5800 - 6300.....maybe more maybe less.

To the underlined quote I say "bullsh!t."
The LS series engines pulls hard straight up to redline (perception,) and with valve springs/etc would still pull further into the red unlike the LT or earlier series...

To the bold print I say "Granny Shifter!!!"

I won't bet my $$$money$$$ on you with your driving style!!

I had similar mods to what you have. I shifted at redline. Just make sure your in competion mode otherwise the traction control will slow you down. btw I ran a 11.78@120.9 with old cheater slicks. Have fun with the rustangs.
O you might want to get a dyno tune too.
