Sold my vette & bought a vette
I'm not used to driving a stick (my first car was a manual chevy luv with 90hp or so), especially not one with 405hp. First gear is a little rough for me (I keep dumping it and the car shudders). The rest of the gears I'm alright in. Gonna have to learn again

Hope it breaks 12's.

Practice, Practice, Practice....Get out there and drive on some quiet roads. You will find the sweet spot after a while. Once you find how high the clutch engages, it will get easier. Have fun with her!
Just kidding, I still want a C5 Z06, maybe you'll sell it to me for a good deal in a year. Trending Topics

give and take...
slowly release the clutch pedal until you start to either see the rpms's slightly drop, or until you start to feel the car moving forward...then slowly,..as slow as you are releasing the clutch pedal, start applying the throttle,...again, slowly,..smoothly.
Think of a balance beam scale....find that happy medium in the middle of both.
Good purchase.....always like to see auto guys take the leap and go manual.
Nice ride,...have fun with it.

Yea I'm starting to like the leap. Gas mileage is better, the car feels much more responsive. I can leave it in 5th in this car on the highway and the passing speed is still incredible.
Woke up this morning and my left leg was sore, like I had been at the gym for 3 hours the night before. I'm gonna end up with one big popeye leg and another puny leg on the right, after a few months with this clutch.
