2002 zo6 ebcm
2002 zo6 ebcm One of the cars my dad is looking at reciently had the EBCM replaced, owner states it had started to act up. I know there are quite a few posts about this happening but I was just wondering if this is more frequent for an 02? I have read some about different sized wheels causing this problem, is that true? This seems like a fairly common problem from what I have read, once it has been replaced do they normally continue to have the problem or is it generally fixed?
Generally, they are fixed by replacing the ebcm. If that doesn't correct the problem it is probably a grounding issue and there's a ton of them to locate and clean up. Good luck if he purchases the car.
Alright thanks, I didnt really know much about it untill the guy told me about it and then i read about it a little by searching on here but didnt know how frequent it was or if it is something that would cause you to want to stay away from a car.
