Default LS1 "performance cam" on ebay......

Has anyone heard anything about these copied cams? His feedback is positive 44 so someone's buying them. Thank you for all of the info.

PS I did a search and no one has even mentioned this guy or his cam.
This is fresh custom copy. Fits G.M. 4.8,5.3,5.7,6.0 engines. Specs are 236/242 .580/.590 on a 112 lsa. The cam will provide a noticeable idle with good low end through top mid- end performance gains. This is a regrind cam great for street and strip use.
This regrind is done by a company that has been serving many speed shops in my area for years. It will have a fresh grind with no runs.If you are not familiar with the regrind process it is like copying a key.You have the master template which provides the lobe profile for the slave product. This process is done by cutting on the back end of the lobe. there is no welding to be done. All lobe, and journals are polished.

Careful there as it is right on the edge as it is.....

As far as the cam, that thing is HUGE for a 346 and will lope like a SOB. In a A4, the idle will have to be around 1100 to 1200 RPMs. Plus a regrind means that the cam was damaged sometime and the lobes made smaller. For a few extra dollars you can get a new cam and have a good piece of mind about the cam.

Default 580/590 cam

hey i got the cam you are talking about in my new motor. i have had no probs yet. i dont no how anyone can say its to big for a 346ci motor when most are running bigger cams. a ms3 has more lift and a little less durration.
lots of peps run that. i dont no yet but im a get a new nos kit and go to the track and i see 10.6 easy with this cam and a little gas. ive seen one guy with a 346ci with a 646 lift cam and heads and i wouldent touch him on da gas. i dont think his big cam was a slug!!!!!! its all about going fast to me. keep in touch ill tell you how she does at the track.

Cams are not that expensive so for the extra money id feel better getting in from a performance shop. Not saying these are not just as good but just piece of mind.

It is a regrind. Rather than doing the right thing and tossing the cam, it was 'fixed' and put on crap-bay. Personally I would spend a few extra dollars and get a new cam. I have seen the damage caused when a cam goes and it is not pretty by any means.

don't think I would bother. could take the rest of your motor with it. Re-grinds can be ok if done right.. re-hardened and polished..etc. If you're going that deep, don't cheap out.
As for the picture.. well even the grainy blown up image is pretty hot. lol.

He will get your info and design your cam for you...the guy treats you like a friend and not a client. He spent 30 minutes on his cell discussing my heads and I didn't even know him. He has all my business. This dude knows his sh*t and has been around since the development of AFR heads (witch he took part in ). His cell is 813-469-4665....tell him Bob Pittman from the forum sent you !!

Hey Pitt,
That's PETE Incaudo! All kidding aside, a brand new cam from Pete isn't going to cost you that much more than the fleabay re-ground, and Pete will spec something that'll really work with your heads/intake etc.

The cam I'm running in my LS3 stroker is something Pete cooked up for me and the H/C set-up I had in my 346 was one of his designs and it flat kicked ***! It'll be a while before my new set-up sees a dyno, but I know it's going to make some great numbers, and it currently feels VERY strong even though the tune is still kinda rich for break-in. Can't go wrong with anything from Pete!
