Default dynoed today

Finally have all the issues fixed associated with my LG Pro header install. Went to the dyno for a tune today. My car is 03 Z06 with Breathless Performance intake, LG Pros with x pipe and cats, and Corsa Indys. Came away with 380/370. Tuned by Ryan at RPM in Garner NC. We looked at three different graphs of 03 Z's he had tuned in the past and all were similarly equipped and all were within 5 hp of each other. I was pleased with the numbers and highly recommend Ryan if you need work done. They are good people.

Thanks. I bet you will be looking for new rear tires soon. I am thinking about going back to my Ti cat back. The Indys are Nascar loud when you put your foot down but they sure do sound good just cruising around. Do you have cats on your car?

NO cats I have since added B&B PRT exhaust. The supercharger and cam install should be done wed and we will see what she sounds like then. I have CCW 19's with BFG KDW2 they hook well so far but not with close to 575 rwhp.

Hmm, do the #'s sound low or is it just me? Our 02 Z with just intake and exhaust dyno'd at 371/360. With headers and a tune I would expect it to be in the 390 range. Im not trying to be a smartass, just wondering.

I was thinking the same thing, but its probably just the dyno that was used... but for the record, my stock 03 Z06 put down 385whp/368wtq with the Ziptie Mod (which is the airbox lid removed) and a tune.

Could just be the dyno but 3 Z's with long tubes and similar mods all were within 5 hp so I wouldn't think all three would be low. Also this is a 14k mile car so maybe will loosen up some with more miles. These numbers were also corrected for conditions. 87 degress 47 % humidity. To be honest this is about the number I expected to see.

I just dynoed last week and made 395 by 390 with open LG motorsports headers, Breathless intake and tune on a mustang dyno. I am pretty happy with those numbers.

No that's cool, not knocking your #'s at all, as long as your happy that's all that matters.

Good numbers.
I do not think it is all that low.
My car 2003 Z06 with Halltech CAI & LG Street headers/X pipe untunned put down 383 rwhp & 370 rwtq.
I think the weather conditions & the dyno can make a difference..
Take it to the track, that is where it matters.

Thats true. It feels stronger than before so thats what counts. And you've all heard on these forums that you can't compare dynos. Dynos are for tuning and evaluating mods. Still it is fun to do and I'm sure we will continue to do so.

I have the LG Longtube headers, KN Intake, stock exhaust, Cam and Dynotune and I came in at 427rwhp. Ryan at RPM did my setup on everything too. Awesome shop. Your on HPJ?

Edit: My car with intake, headers, and tune came in at 390rwhp. Just FYI for the Quik Z06. I did all of that before I decided to get the cam.

No not a member have visited the site some. Glad you are satisfied with RPM. They have some serious HP in that shop. Where are you located?

That's impressive. That's better than many stock LS3 dynos that I've seen.
