Default Fuel pump limits on a 2001 Z06

I have plans to do the trick flow 485-500hp h/c package w/kooks lts and talked with the guy that was going to be tuning my car since he has tuned endless lsx engines. he said 500hp (crank) would be tipping the limits of the stock fuel system and i was wondering what was the weaker link, the fuel pump or the injectors? what have people seen, i also heard the Z06s had bigger injectors. What has people seen as far as duty cycle on the stock injectors of a 500hp C5 Z06???
Thanks!

Definitely upgrade the injectors and fuel pump. Both are fairly cheap and easy to do.

Stock injectors will cut be around 105% duty cycle with around 450 rwhp. You definitely need bigger injectors. As for the pump you can make over 500 with the stock pump.

For reference I ran out of pump at 560rwhp. This is with a Racetronix pump and wire harness and 60lb injectors. I would be surprised if the stock pump would do 500 rwhp.

A NA car can make more power on less pump than forced induction. Usually the NA car runs a little leaner and never sees an increase in fuel pressure which hurts pump flow.
