Thinking of C5 Been looking at getting a new C5 before price jumps for the C6. Is there any way to get any kind of discount? The few dealers I've been to here in California want full price. I looked at Vettes when I was out in Palm Springs and they ADD $3000 to the sticker price. Asked why and they said because they can!

Re: Thinking of C5 Definately check out the vette net on corvetteforum. Those guys have a lot of dealer relationships and can find a car on the lot for 3-5k under sticker.
All corvettes are 50 state emissions legal so you can buy one anywhere in the country.

Re: Thinking of C5 Buy a used one and wait for the C6 There has been little changes to the c5 thru the years. Their are some great deals on modded cars check the boards on the corvette forum.
