Car still needs to be tuned. I haven't had any time lately do to work and other projects. If you listen, you can hear the car breaking up under load. Anyways, big thanks to DRIVERMODftw for taking the time out and making this video. Again, this is only cruising...

Can't wait for some WOT audio.

Hey man,..thanks for watching. You've gone nines before right? What diff mods are you currently using? I am unable to buy a complete diff,...and i'm probably gonna look into the shafts and such, since I am still on a stock diff, with only a DTE brace. I'd really like to be able to do some digs in this thing when it's all said and done.

mods are a DTE output shaft, brace and a drag pack. everything else is stock. was able to pull quite a few 1.4x 60's w/o breaking anything. previous owner said the stock 3.42 ring gear was micro-polished but I'm not sure what effect that has on strengthing it.

your turbos "might" make launching difficult with a manual, but chances are that soft launch will save you breakage. if you're gonna go from a dig make sure to get the drag pack. IMO its the most important mod, besides the driver.

Wow thats it? Awesome. The shaf, will be the next mod. I have a complete drag pack at our other shop so we're good there. I think your right about the micropolishing. Would help with reducing friction but,..unless it was cryo treated as well, don't see it being a benefit for strength.

Thanks for the info,...the future is looking good.

...what, and cover up my euro taillights? NAH. Was never a fan of blackouts on white cars. Don't think I ever will be either. Kinda makes things bland looking,...in my opinon.

Uh, why don't you tape off the euro trash lights and just paint the red part....Its not like your going with a black/white theme anyways, right? NOT you are.....it looks like the missing puzzle in my book....but either way its super tight.

Why don't you paint your car white, then paint your tail lights black?

Thanks for the advice but, to each his own. Since I must explain.....

1) All tail lights MUST reflect red to be considered LEGAL. Must. Hence, even the manufactures that have CLEAR taillights, even have a small area, that reflects red.

I do enough illegal **** in my car, that I don't need to get GANKED,...for something soo stupid and avoidable.

2) and more importantly, I think it makes a white car, or better yet, a NON metallic car look bland. Thats my opinion. I also think CLEAR lights on the side(rear) makes the WHITE car look bland as well.

3)It's not a show car. I like the CLEAN look,...i'll stick to it.

What would the masses think if you painted the roof flat black?

OMG, Corvette blasphemy...LOL.
They may never let you go to CF again! (Like me...hahaha!)

now you know i'd paint the roof black...or the rear of the car like the C5R.

Thats still up for debate. I need to have your bro photoshop it or something. Also thought of another scheme,..that'd be crazy.

Think WAR PAINT.

Yeah,..I might go that route since it's not my daily anymore.

Tell you about it later.

Okay Sparky, I want my 2:22 back, no babes, no throttle, try again, as a certain CTS-V would have handed you your ****. BTW, you left two black shop towels on your hood and some kid put a sticker on your front 1/4.

Now go get those tails tinted, and don't be painting the rear and roof black, as that is my near-future plan.

My computer program wouldn't play it.... I guess it's afraid of your car.

Ummm... since I heard there's no real boost, acceleration shots I guess I wont sweat it... at least your car is together....

From my past TT experience... the reason you can't film it (as a guess) is because you CAN'T.

(and you wonder why I hate complex custom-fabbed boosted set-ups...)

I understand my friend! BUT actually I was told (by more than one cop) as LONG as there is 2 clear reflectors on the rear of the car, then it is legal. I guess your laws in Florda (your in florda, right?) SUCK. I have never been pulled over for my tail lights being black nor have I met someone who has.

but your right, it adds to the sketchy list....I do like the Idea or the roof black......It's just paint.

Hey jamie... I have just received my brand new 300m output shafts from (jason) cajundude@englandgreen. He gave me a great deal on them, and they are a good product.
