Looks pretty damn good. That particular option package is the Z16 option. That gives you the paint scheme and the carbon fiber hood. Other than that, the only thing different for the 2004 ZO6 is a little different suspension tuning supposedly to maintain its performance while offering a more compliant ride. The Z16 option will set you back close to 5 grand....a pretty good chunk of change for basically an appearance package. The Carbon fiber hood does save you about 10 pounds for what that is worth. All in all, I think it is very sharp...but a lot of cash.

It looks pretty sweet to me, but I'm with John, I don't know if I would pay an extra 5k for it.
I hope you know a sales manager at the dealership, because they are the ones who have to approve any deals. So even if your friend was a salesman and wanted to give you a smoking deal, he still wouldn't be able to unless the sales manager approves it. Now if your friend is above the sales manager, then you can get any deal he wants to give you.
By the way, were you behind me leaving Fox and Hound saturday night?

I think it looks pretty sweet. Ive got the Commemerative C5R as my background on my computer. I like the overall look, and thought its about time Chevy finally markets the C5Rs accomplishments in ALMS, its too bad it couldnt go 3-4 at LeMans tho

Yea, like the other have said. You better be willing to shell out over 56k for that vette. That is a limited edition vehicle and obtaining one can be a big task. The dealership you are talking about might only be allocated one or two Z16's. I don't see no dealer giving away a allocation like that to give you a deal at sticker or below. That is their opportunity to make a lot of extra cash off that car.

Yeah I was just cruising along and the road made a real sharp right turn to merge with the feeder of 45, and i was probably going about 60 mph, and I remember thinking if I would have been in the SS I would have slowed down some. Then after enjoying the handling of the Vette, I thought, I hope the person behind me doesn't think i was trying to be an *** or a show off, but i didn't see any reason to slow down. I'm still getting used to the way this car handles compared to the SS.

That never hurts

But, i think the 'main' reason they didnt add any more ponies to the C5, was b/c they're trying to get the C6 straight and all that. So, 405hp will have to due for now...(like thats a bad thing )
