285 ~ 300

The '01+ cars are 290 ~ 305


F-bodies dyno higher.... the live axle set-up saps less hp than the Corvettes IRS.

yeah 285-300 i'd guess. my '98 did 290 stock and after heads/cam bolt on's it put down below

Correct, but also remember that there is more to it than just dyno numbers. The Vettes are lighter and handle much better than Fbodies.

Why would the 01+ cars dyno higher, they have an ls6 intake but aren't gains from this negated by the slightly smaller cam that came in 01+s? I mean an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1 right???

They had a better intake, but smaller cam (not that much smaller in reality)

In the end they still are rated at 5hp more.... and they dyno a little more then pre '01 cars. (the '01's have some additional overall improvements to the engine and car too)

BONE stock save for heavier ZO6 repro wheels in the back (~8lbs heavier each side). This was with 58K miles on the clock, original plugs, wires, and air filter even.
