Theres alot more needed to go 9's that just the hp regardless of the dyno used.

Just my measly .02, I normally dont think it should be required for people to give up info, but if your shattering records, not just breaking them by a 1/10 or so, you have some explaining to do. espescially when your picking up an additional 7mph on a car that in order to go 9's should already be maxamizing all of its power... espescially when thats about what you would expect from a 100 shot

I dont know man, I usally side with the driver given video and all but when your the only one going 9's with that kind of power and shady about it its going to raise an eye or two.

awesome car either way, just sad really if your hiding something.

No one is doubting the run numbers, but the "oats behind the run" is what is being questioned.

What am I shady about?
You even said I shouldn't have to divulge all of our info that we worked long and hard on.
My car has been running strong all of 2008 since we did the new setup.
I ran 134.40 on my first full pass in average air.
I also ran the the local 10.0 index all year and ran 10.2x's in heads up competition. I ran 10.2's in the summer also. Then 10.1x's.
Do some research before you past judgement. I have many threads out there with tons of info. I think I gave away enough info out over the years to help people out.

It's all good guys, you don't know me. If you knew me or followed my car over the past year or even 2 you might think differently.
Alot of hard work, research, and detail went into this package.
I would be a fool to give away all of our hard work, research, and secrets.

I drove the car to the track, and simply aired down the drag radials and ran a stout time on a street night with great air. Then drove home an hour and a half.

No rental necessary. It was backed up and will be backed up again.

It does feel nice to drive ~3 hours round trip to the track and knock and some sick ET's then drive home.

I did the same thing a few weeks back (new numbers in sig) and on the way out people we looking as they all thought i trailered it... Too bad I got beat by a snowmobile in the semifinals.

Because you don't know me and haven't been following my car for the past 8 months. I didn't shatter any record, I've been gradually dropping my times and the record.
I ran 10.4, then 10.3, then 10.2's then 10.1x's, then a 9.
All in the course of 6 months maybe more.
All my passes are documented and some in the local racetrack news.
Many in competition, none at rentals, and some on heads up pro trees.
It hard to follow every thread that's out there and answer every question because I assume people know my car already.

rob, i do know you and tommy but 107mph in the 1/8th to 139 in the 1/4 is a little insane for a 346ci stock short w/4.11 gears... something is fishy...but what do i know... good luck w/it...

You must be someone from my generation with your screen name! lol

The first full pass I made with the car it trapped 134.40mph in temps around high 68 degrees on slicks(11 psi) and not powershifting.

Then 6 months of figuring ot the car and tweaks.

The last pass it trapped 138.80mph in stellar air on drag radials (20psi)and powershifting.
My four highest mph's were on that day, too.

Makes sense if you look at it that way.

I'm still focused on how I can make it go faster till the end of this year then maybe make a change.

I have only 1 question.Since you already stated your race weight as 3300 pounds when you posted in "Fastest N/A Stock CI H/C"what proof do you have of this race weight?

yeah, around here that kind of performance is about 5$/lbs

I am not on his ignore list, he is simply afraid to answer my questions because the truth will come out. I also know Im not on his ignore list because in a previous post he called a mutual friend of ours complaining to him about me asking questions. If he cant see them, why is he upset by them?

Rob is full of ****. I like how he tries to tell you guys to fallow his car for the last year. if you had, you would have even more questions then I posted. And one of the questions was directly cause by his previous runs. Pick up 1mph in the 1/8 but pick up 6 in the 1/4 from what his car did two weeks before?

How does your car all of a sudden make an extra 75-100hp once you are in 4th gear? 75-100hp that were not there in 1st, 2nd or 3rd...

Mayeb someone can simply copy paste the questions I posed, he cant have someone he does not even know on an ignore list can he?

Rob... I have heard that excuse from you for YEARS!!!

Except now it does not work... You have posted vids of your car running 134 and you can hear that the RPM never drops on the shift. Not to mention you have a face plated transmission, you told me that before your current state, and you have a slipper clutch because I know you shift w/o using the clutch.

There is NOTHING wrong with that, that is all fair. But don't use the excuse of "I did not powershift" when you dont have to use the clutch to shift the car to begin with. When you trap 134 you can hear that your foot is too the floor and your car sounds like an auto going down track.

Please dont think we are all fools here. The **** you can get away with on the Corvette Forum, where 75% of the people make their vette's 600HP so that they can apply wax to them all year around, will not fly on LS1Tech...

well the "last time the car was on the scales" with his tool box, battery charger, and slicks in the trunk, matress strapped to the roof, and his buddy sitting in the passenger seat, his car was 3300lbs...

The heaviest no weight added Z06 in the world...

At the end of the day, yes his car went 9.98 @ 138.8... no one can take that away from him, but HOW he did it is under A LOT of suspicion. His avoidance of answering 5 simple questions that I have posed many times over the last 3 days is only making it worse.

Be a man Robert...

This isn't the first time someone has been accused of using nitrous/stroker.
Cartek has been accused in the past and even went as far as tearing a motor down for a guy (we all know by the way) who swore the car in question was a stroker. Tore it down right in front of him immediately following a supervised track outing. The guy admitted he was wrong publicly.
I don't see why the same can't be done here. Rob doesn't have to go pulling the motor or anything but at the Corvette Challenge next week I don't see the harm in him opening his car to visual inspection (hood trunk cockpit) and a weight verification on the Etown scale.
If it were me, I would jump at the chance to shut Alex up.
But seriously, I think for this record and for AMR to get the credit they deserve my suggestion would be the best way to go. Anything is better than all this back and forth stuff.
