if you were on street tires, I'd say you were really trying to NOT have traction. you still managed a pretty nice 1/4 time though, actually it was really good. you may've been able to pull a 11.9

haha chris man if you didnt let out i bet you coulda pulled a 7.4 or so in the 1/8th.. you need to just cram it to the floor and hang in there with it!!! haha.. that car should pull some mid-low 7's but its kinda hard i guess when we dont get much practice other than on the street lol.. we have to drive atleast 1hr to the track..

I think Ive been pretty lucky with the stock LS1 DS Ive got...turn 1.61-1.63s on motor and mid 1.40s on a little shot...with 4.10s and slicks. Im sure the days are numbered though.

Congrats on the time! I have had my drive shaft break on me during my burn out. Broke 3 drive shafts, 4, 10 bolt rears, 1 mini spool, 1 set of axles. So I know how you feel. Then I deiced to go with a TH-400 and a 9' rear. Then I burnt up the clutch's in the 9' this year. I have the worse luck and I only make 330 rwph!

Given that the track is short your times are probably right. Few people outside of your track knows what they would run at a track of that was 60' short. So why even post?

Not to mention your first post should have contained the track info instead of just saying "I went 7.9 @ 83."

Hey guys,
I was strugling coming out of the hole on my 2002 z28 this last saturday. MY SES light popped on right when i got there and it was an 02 sensor, and I ran as follows, with Pacesetter Longtubes,MTI LID,Bo white TB,Free mods,ORY, Borla CB, HP tuners tune with a4, 2.73's.

Reaction .2814
60 ft 2.1133
330ft 5.5988
1/8th 8.4643
mph 85.46

I figured it would of ran lil quicker, since weather was 70 degree's and clear. Everytime I launched hard i spun because I was running 255/50/16 falkens. I also was boging a bit if I feathered it out. Any you A4 guys running better, close, or similar? Thanks
