Famoso Results (11/22)
So the family and I headed out to Famoso for the private track rental. The last time I was out there before the F13 swap (almost exactly a year ago on 11-17-2007), the SS ran a 12.830 @ 107.25 with a 1.826 60' on street tires. Today my best time was as follows:
On 26x11.5x15 ET Streets (DOT slicks)
60' = 1.837
330' = 5.077
660' = 7.779
MPH = 90.53
1000' = 10.119
1320' = 12.089
MPH = 114.79
Weather conditions were (last year was 2000' DA):
Time = 12:08 PM
Temp = 62.2
Humidity = 52.5%
Barometer = 29.51"
DA = 1395'
Correction Factor = 1.025 (to use to correct to sea level)
Based on the MPH, it could be any where from an 11.55 to an 11.75. The thing holding my ET back is my 3000 stall converter, but it is very efficient on the top. It did go 1.756 with Jen driving, but the weather was not as good (12.11 @ 113.76). If finances were better, I would be all over that Yank sale and get a PT4000. So based on MPH increase of 7.54, that is roughly equal to a 75.4 HP gain! Which my dyno sheet showed a 48 HP gain previously. Didn't get my 11 second slip, but then again I was only expecting a 112 MPH.
