Wow, that is awesome, congrats Dennis!!! So how much weight did you remove? 3180 raceweight is very healthy.

The A6/6L80 trans (I have it in my C6) seems to be held back a little more than the A4/4L65 either due to the tuning/programming limitations or perhaps just some inherent/internal design/torque management issues, not sure what it is but maybe in time it will fair better.
The LS3 is a great motor and on paper should be better than the LS2 in all respects but I really expected to see some better results (both in bolt on trim and internally modified) from it by this point.

What do you have done to your suspension after market shocks or anything else?

Not sure how often Dennis checks in here so I'll answer for him ...his suspension is the factory stock Z51 package with the only change being the disconnecting of the front sway bar.

He normally uses either BFG 295-35-18 DRs or M/T 305-35-18 DRs but that day he was using M/T 275-40-17 DRs. I know this because he borrowed them from me.

Haha well if you know that works also, thats awesome that the stock suspension is working so good for him. I kinda figured he had the front sway bar unhooked that definatly makes a huge difference.
