Update
Took her out this weekend to try out the 275/60/15 radials and see what the limits were with the motor and on the spray.
After trying a regular footbrake, I stepped up to a transbrake launch at 3800 rpm on the radials at 18 psi:
After playing around with a timer that ultimately was hit or miss, I went back to using a toggle switch for the nitrous shot (same 78 fuel/85 nitrous I used the previous week). Car was full weight with both seats this time.
First full spray pass, footbraking 2000 rpm - 1.494 60 foot, 6.400 @ 108.35 mph 1/8-mile, 10.063 @ 132.52 mph.
Tried the MSD timer and it clicked off but I grabbed the button in time for a 10.23 at 131 mph pass.
Video of the 11.16 N/A whack and the 10.23 pass:

Okay, let's go back to the manual button, get greedy and see if she will hold more.
Footbraking 2000 rpm, same shot, same tire pressure -
Then I got the track to open their scales. The last time I weighed her she was about 3500 (before the roll bar to cage upgrade, adding tailpipes to the full 3" exhaust, and whatever other weight the restoration added).
With my 215 butt in the seat (which weighs 52 lbs for a factory bucket seat), she weighed 3660!
I am now off for a few weeks before heading south to race at PBIR Super Chevy meet on the first weekend in March.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Derek

That is a good looking Nova Derek, looks good doing a wheelie too. Glad your having fun with it again after so long. Are you gonna run sportsman with it this year or Super Pro?

TXCamSS,
Yep, took me a good 3-4 minutes to get all the stuff on and the net in place the first time (almost makes the stuff needed for low 11s a joke a times). Thanks for the comments.
Jeff,
Good hearing from you. Not likely she'll be getting sold anytime soon (since I know what it would take to replace it (and no one will likely pay me that for a SBC green Nova), but I'll let you know if that changes.

Congrats on making it into the 9's and thats a really nice car. What rpm are you crossing with the 3.73's on n20? What cam and compression are you running in that 383? I am finishing up my new bullet LT1, 12.1 compression 383, solid roller, Fully ported LT1 castings, shaft rockers, 4k converter and 4.10's. I don't know if it will cross under 7,000 on n2o with 4.10's and the 325/50/15's. Later Clint

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Jeff, I might once I get the timer working, but at this point she'll stay put.
RPM on the 275/60/15 radials is 6900, on the 28 x 10.5 slicks is 6600. Cam is a custom solid roller, compression is 10.25:1. Good luck with your new bullet, sounds badass!
