Well...Im referring to the 2003-2006 srt10 Vipers with 500 HP..

A Viper club of america member has just set a new record in a stock 2003-2006 Viper.

SPEEDFREAK ran the following

60 ft 1.8
1/8 mile 7.8
1/8 mile 95 mph
1/4 mile 11.57
1/4 mile 122.5 mph

ran in Florida in a DA of negative 100 ft

Ive always thought that the 500 HP SRT10 verts were good for mid 11's bone stock but most people run a 11.9-12.1 at 119-121 mph their firstcouple times out and then start modding..This guy stuck to it and reaped the rewards..

Congrats SPEEDFREAK on a 11.57 in a stock 2006 SRT10 on the stock tires

A 1.8 60 foot is pretty good for a stock Viper on the stock tires.

Well their were two really close ones...

ViperJim ran a 11.69 at 123 a few years ago in a 2003 vert

Your own beloved Jamie Furman ( current fastest stock C6Z06 record holder with the 10.99 at 129 mph) ran a 11.59 at 122 in a stock GTS ACR Viper many years ago I think the car was a 2001..

Those old Vipers are faster than many think..Quite a few guys running 11's in them at around 119 mph..

But Speedfreaks stock 11.57 at 122.5 is the new reighning king..

Now on the flip side on the coin Jamie furman has ran a 11.0 at 130 mph in his stock 2008 600 hp Viper and has that current record

But, what is with the 1/8 mile ET? It doesn't really jive with the rest of the numbers.. misprint maybe?
