sounds close to what a stock a4 car should run. my 2000 a4 z28 went 8.9 @ 81 bone stock down to the paper filter with a raceweight of 3650ish. all option 273 car, weighed exactly 3480 as it came off the showroom floor, full tank of gas. thankfully it woke up with some mods.
on the other hand, naturally my wife makes an impulse buy on a 99 m6 ws6 and the mfer goes 89mph with a lid and flowmaster only. i looked for months for the *right car and bought what had to be the slowest a4 car ever.
i basically **** a brick when we went from a 30 roll (i had 4k stall, 373s, and bolt-ons) and pulled a fender off the hit only to lose it and fall behind at 100+. my bolt-on 110+ trap car was getting pulled by a ******* stock ws6 that my wife didn't know **** about...other than it was pretty. go figure.

Thanks. I bought a set of 373's today! The plan for the car is 3500 stall,LT's and a g5x3 cam but you know how it goes anything can change.After I get all my mods done I might lean towards some nos but I know the tranny might not make it with just the cam and some good tires.
