Car is slow
Mods are longtubes, y pipe, slp dual muffler, ls6 intake, throttle body, slp lid. Took it to the track today for some fun runs and it went consistant 13.30's at 103 what garbage! 2.0 60 foots with street tires with limited spinning. Car has 323 stock gear as well and is an A4. On nitrous it goes consistent 11.80's. Why is my car so slow on motor? It is untuned as well. Any input is appreciated.

I have a yank 3000 stall sitting in my room along with a comp 222 224 566 568 on a 112 lobe sep cam, pac valve springs, a meilling high volume oil pump, and a auburn posi with a 373 gear. If it doesnt run low 12's with that setup im lighting it on fire. I mean i cant really complain on nitrous the car is nasty but on motor its just plain boring.

Those long tube headers are ******* up your tune, I bet. That's maybe a little low MPH even for a bone stock car, though E/T looks good (again, for a stock car). I don't know how much headers alone pic up, but my best with a lid/Headers/cut-out on $100 **** street tires is 12.987. Don't know my MPH.

I feel your pain.
My car has LTs, O/R Y, Electric C/O, CB, LS6 Intake, Ported TB, SLP Lid, FTRA and the best I have ran was a 12.849 @ 107.77 with a 1.999 60ft. The highest I have ever trapped is 108.5. I trapped 105 with just a lid and ftra
While my time is better than yours I think not having a tune is holding me back as well.
1. How are you launching the car?
2. Are you just punching it or brake stalling it? If you are brake stalling it what are you holding the RPMs at before you floor it?
3. How's the track prep?
4. What is the DA like?
5. Also do you have any weight reduction?
6. What size wheels/tires are you running?
These little things will play a part in your times....your trap should be a lot higher that's for sure.
I haven't got a tune yet because I'd rather wait until I add the stall and cam and only have to pay for one tune..... A stall will definitely help.
