Default First time out with the new combo

Hadn't been to the track since November of 2007. Car has been down since for a motor rebuild and front mount turbo kit, triple disc converter, and some other pidley junk. Has been a real bear but finally put a real big smile on my face last night.
The setup is a 347 with stock crank, compstar rods, and mahle pistons (about 9.3:1 CR). 226/223 .590ish 115 cam, stock 317 heads, and ls6 intake. The kit is a used old HiFlo Turbo kit I picked up in fall of 2007 from TURBO LS1 SS on here (specs in sig).
Finally got it out to the track for some shake down runs and see how the setup performed last night. I was a little disheartened on the dyno when the car only made 450rwhp/550rwtq on 91 octane pump gas with 9.5psi of boost through a 3 disc PI Vigilante locked thru a steel driveshaft, stock 10 bolt, and heavy 17x11 wheels. But, this proved to not matter and the car ran some pretty decent times and kinda surprised me considering the 2700DA. I think the weak 60's are because I had the converter setup from PI for around 600rwhp, and I'm thinkin its a little shy of that still on pump gas

Raceweight was just over 3600. Keep in mind - 17" ZR1s, heater, stereo nice-weather-driver street car. Made 5 runs, all low 11s.

My last run was my best - I think because it had cooled off some as the 60' was similar to the first one that was a 11.25...

.171
1.745
4.715
7.220
98.10
9.377
11.197
123.94

I honestly didn't think it'd run anywhere close to this, esp the MPH in the crappy DA we had and with the not so stellar dyno numbers I'd been so bummed about (450/550).
Now I'm hoping for a cold front this weekend to get it out again and hopefully hit 10s. Time will tell, but so far I'm happy. May have to play with more octane/boost before too long

Here's a video of an 11.3x pass, racing 'Trust' on here...As you can see, I need a line lock!

Congrats! I remember PM'ing back and forth with you when you had engine troubles. I am pleased to see that your hard work payed off. I went through similar issues... payed for a "professionally built" short block, got a steaming pile that lasted 200 miles.
