Default New best

Went back out after fixing the torque arm.

Went 10.78 at 122 with a 10mph head wind. Corrected to a 10.69 at 123 I know its got a 60 in it just got to get my 60 foot down it was a 1.48 and the car is twisting bad (stock rear sway bar lol) Not too bad for only 3 passes so far ,but its getting there my goal this year was 1 second under and I,m .13 away so it'll come..

For those of you that don't know its a 346 bored .020 over with a cam thats it its a 349 inch cam only car with stock intake and t/b unported. 3250 raceweight. I would consider it a cam only car ,but I bored it. I am in c/s with an index of 11.65

Congrats on the passes. Your car is moving for a cam only setup.

You didn't have to resleeve the block boring it that much over? Also, how come you didn't have MCG to tune your ride again with the new setup?

Hey guys I looked at some of those bars and I can't have anything welded to the car it all has to bolt on any of you run the 1'' spohn bar that just bolts on?

i tried it but it didnt really work might be okay for a bolt on car but that it...and the spohn drag bar is fully bolt in...they recommend that you weld the one brackets in but it in not a must...as i still have not done mine just use grade 8 bolts and it will be fine...

wow nice new times, really cutting away at it. I need to get 60's like that

Ya, whats chris said. and more whats I didnt add in the other thread.
I have that 1inch spohn with the poly bushings. I drive it no the street alot and its nice and quite. A LOT better then stock but still twist a little. I bet I could make some alum spaces over the poly to tighten it up and you could pre load it. But id just get the race bolt in one with the rod ends.

Oh the drag bar I think it stairt on the ends and hit the ***** on most dual adjustab;e rear shocks. So look out for that. can you run the transverse lower should mount brackets. Maybe MADMAN can make you a bolt on one. Keeps the shocks form binding with more room in adjustments, and you can move the shocks over a little for the adj. **** room.

Very impressive times Tim. Check out BMR's bar, I put one on mine and picked my 60' up from 1.52 to 1.38 on motor.
