Diamond Pistons
TrickFlow "AS Cast" Heads (Thanks Ron@Vengeance)
Custom Turbo Cam (Thanks Ron@Vengeance)
Ported Fast 90MM
FLT Maximum Performance 4L65E (public release coming soon)
Yank SS3600
Currie 9"
3.55 gears
295/65/15 Drag Radial
Some of you may recall I stepped upto a PT88 and also installed a PT1000 air/water intercooler over the winter. Intercooler works great, IAT's in the 40's all day!
Here is how things went.
First pass of the year I just rolled into it and the truck went 10.71@136 with a 1.82 sixty.
Second pass was basicly the same thing, trying to rough the tune in and make sure the Air/fuel was right. 10.80@138 2.0 sixty.
3rd pass Added some bottle to spool things. 100 shot to 6psi.
10.05@139 13psi 1.52 sixty.
4th pass. I left the nitrous on the whole track.
9.59@148.58 1.52 sixty. 14psi
5th and Final pass of the night. Same boost and nitrous.
9.52@148.95 1.495 sixty 14psi
Big Thanks to Chuck, Vince and Andy @ Finishline Transmissions for the exceptional customer service and product I have grown used to over the past few years. I have the pleasure of being one of the test bed's for the New Maximum Performance 4L65E (Public release coming soon!) I look very forward to the 2009 race season and hope to provide accurate results to the durability of FLT65E's
I also would like to thank Dave at Yank for his continued support of me and my truck!
