Thumbs up

Guys,
Sharpe has stepped up to take over the SI list. The military keeps me pretty busy these days, so hopefully he can keep up a little better than I have over the past couple months.

It's been fun, but after 8+ years it's time for some new blood

Cool, I've PM'd him as well.

And John, thank you so much for having handled this list so well over the years and more importantly, thank you so much for your service to our great nation, it is MUCH appreciated.

I updated the F-Body list to include Mike G's new best; will do the other couple ASAP. Got interrupted.

Thank you.

One minor correction though, my car (10.97 on the Corvette list) is listed as an A4 trans but it's actually an A6, no big deal but just like to see total accuracy for the lists.

I have a question why is there a list for certain C6s but C6s are in C5 list? Seam like C6s should all be together like C5 list used to be and should be.

I'm thinking that it might have something to do with the C6 Z06 having a 427 where as the heavier base C6s have a 364 (or a 376 in the case of the LS3 (none on the list yet)) making them much closer in displacement to the LS1/LS6 C5s and their 346s.
Also, C5 Z06s ('02-'04) were rated even higher (405hp) than the C6 LS2s (400hp) which weighed more as well so it is somewhat fair that they be listed together.
I do agree that having a 345hp C5 LS1 car with 2.73 gears (automatic) on the very same list with say, a 436hp C6 LS3 with 3.42 gears (manual) might appear a little askew though.

If the list were to really be broken down with that kind of detail though then the C5 LS1s would have to be separated from the C5 Z06 LS6s and the C6 LS2s would be separate from the C6 LS3s and then the Z51 guys will want their own list and then the red cars will need to be separated from the guys with blue cars ...where will it all end LOL.
I don't necessarily disagree with ya at all, just stating why it may be what it is.
