Default 9.44@143mph w/L92's

I ran 9.44 @ 143mph last night at Kansas Interntional Dragway. Has anyone gone faster w/L92 heads?

Race weight is 3250 and it is a footbrake car "no tran brake installed". This was on a 200 shot w/progressive starting at 60% and and coming on full in 3.2 seconds. Hydralic Cam 254/266 low .600 lift with stock rockers and LS7 lifters, carbed, msd 6010 box, Edelbrock Vic manifold, TSP 1 7/8 Fbody headers, TSP L92 heads and a TH400 with a Ebay REDNECK 9.5 inch converter that cost $289.00. I built the motor for 450-500 shot, but I am still trying to get it tuned first before we bump it up and I would also like to step up to a converter that will be able to handle that much power " the other converter is only suppose to be good to 650hp". The A/F was way way to fat at 9.8 and the DA was around 3100 feet that day also. I am in Kansas and it is hard to get a good DA like the coastal guys.

Northeast we get some good up here but I haven't had a "perfect" day of DA yet with this set up. Sometimes we can get close to -1500 DA and better but my fastest times came at around +900 with my current set up.

That why added the air in the bottle. The last 2 months the DA was around 4400-5500 ft, its like racing in Denver.

Nice times! I'm curious to see how those L92's will handle the big shots you've got planned!
